The Chronicler is a new role for the Quest RPG!

The Chronicler traces their fingers over ancient pictograms, translating to their friends the prophecy hidden within. They shout a command and the meteor hurtling towards a farmstead halts its deadly trajectory long enough for the family to
escape. They dive into the past to find the true culprit. The Chronicler is a good choice for people who want to research information for the party and someone who wants to play with the flow of time.

• Archivist
  
  • Omni-Reading Glasses/Gloves: A magic item that allows the Chronicler to translate text.
  • Spectretary: A magic item that contains a fragment of your own mind and can be set to perform tasks and research for you.
  • Grimoire of the Rift: A magical item that allows you to request books from a great archive.
  • Personal Collection: A magical item that creates extra storage space as a museum of your memories.

  • Unreliable Narrator: Affect the rolls of creatures around you.
  • Flashback: Produce something useful for this exact situation.
  • Spoilers: Store rolls for the future and use them at any point.

  • Who Lives: Potentially heal a creature
  • Who Dies: Eulogize a deceased creature, gaining an item or AP.
  • Who Tells Your Story: Bolster allies or rout foes

  • Speed The End: Harm a creature based on how harmed it already is.
  • Velocity: Hasten or slow a creature.

  • Present Awareness: Know the time, date, and your location precisely.
  • A Link to the Past: Witness the past as a dream or by conjuring temporal ghosts
  • Delay Harm: Spread the damage a creature takes over several turns.
  • Time Travel: Travel to another point in time, and then return. May use once in your existence.
